I am excited to announce the launch of Transplant Hero on the Apple App Store. I developed this App because as a transplant surgeon I saw first hand the consequences of “missing meds”. Essentially, Transplant Hero is an alarm for your mobile device that reminds you to take your most important medications like tacrolimus, myfortic, cellcept and prednisone.
After months of beta-testing Transplant Hero, I now realize how difficult it is to take your medications on time. It always seemed that my alarm went of when my mind was completely focused on something else! I think in this way Transplant Hero is the perfect App for transplant patients because in the end – everyone needs a helping hand.
